Three nice to know apt commands

Apt is a command line package manager for debian and all operating systems based on debian like Ubuntu or crunchbang.

Search for packages with apt:

sudo apt-cache search package-name

Fix broken packages:

apt-get install -f

Install package without dependencies:

apt-get --no-install-recommends install Package-name

(This is only here because some say the greatest drawback of dists with a package manager is you cannot control fine-tuned what gets installed and what not.)
